This is fantastic! The
other day slave tried so hard doing a complicated dinner that was not
cooperating. So I threw together a side dish of broccoli. Turned out
the fancy stuff did not taste good but the broccoli was a star! The
easy stuff was better than the fancy!
Try this easy treatment of broccoli and see if you
don't agree. Especially if your Master doesn't
really care for
vegetables, He will love this!
3
slices bacon, cut into ½ -inch pieces
1
bunch broccoli, cut into florets
½
cup cherry tomatoes, halved
kosher
salt, black pepper, a pinch garlic
powder
2
tbs unsalted butter
Directions:
Do
your cutting. Slice the cherry tomatoes in
half. Cut broccoli into
florets, slice the bacon
into ½ inch pieces.
In
a large skillet, cook the bacon over
medium heat, stirring often,
until crisp, 6 to
8 minutes. Transfer to a paper towel lined
plate.
To
the skillet, add the 2 tbs butter then the
broccoli and tomato
halves. Let cook stirring
often, until the broccoli is tender, 8
to 10
minutes.
Season
with salt, pepper and a pinch of
garlic powder if you wish.
Sprinkle with the
bacon pieces. That is all you have to do for a
side dish that can be a meal in itself. What a
fantastic aroma and
taste. Slave served this
with some home baked “sliders”.
Sometimes
easy truly is the best! For our
