Stroganoff
is a dish served around the world from the US to Japan. Each country
or region has a slightly different recipe and presentation. Larousse
Gastronomique lists Stroganoff as a cream, paprika, veal stock and
wine recipe. Brazilians prepare Stronganoff with chicken. In Sweden,
they use sausage. Japanese home recipes call for the dish to be
served on rice.
Here

½

Directions:
Cook
the noodles according to package directions, rinse and drain.
Rinse

rinse

chop
the onion & garlic
let
cream cheese come to room temperature
Cut
the chicken into bite sized pieces (about 1 inch)
In
a large skillet, heat 2 Tbs oil and the minced garlic. Saute for 1
minute before adding chicken to the pan.

With
slotted spoon, remove this mixture to the bowl with the chicken.
In
a bowl mix the can of soup with ½ can of chicken broth.
Mix
in the pieces of cream cheese with mustard powder, onion powder and
paprika until well blended.
Pour
this into the skillet until well blended and heated.
Pour
into the large bowl with chicken and vegetables.
Just before serving, stir in the yogurt.
Serve
