This
morning broke with sunshine and this slave was filled with the
special joy that my fellow slaves will understand. Determined to
serve Master a special brunch, slave came up with this simple but
beautiful dish. Keep your timer handy, you will use it on this
gorgeous offering.
Slave
used Hawaiian bread for this only because it had been on sale, use
what you have. Fix it with plenty of love. Sing while you cook and
your special brunch will surpass your dreams!
Ingredients:
2
slices your favorite bread
2
slices cheese
2
pieces of Canadian bacon (cut off the rind)
butter
Salt
& pepper to taste
Directions:
First
preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Line
a baking tray with foil and spray with cooking spray.
Cut
the skin or rind off of the Canadian bacon, slice the cheese into
four strips.
Lightly
butter the outside edges of the bread.
Take
the pieces of meat and press down into the bread making “wells”
for the eggs.
Place
on baking sheet. Break an egg into each “well”. Season eggs to
your preference.
Lay
cheese strips along the edges.
Bake
at 400 degrees for 8 minutes by the timer.
Turn
off the oven and let it sit for 3 minutes by the timer.
Lightly
“butter” the pieces of meat, then scrape off almost all of it.
Place
them as “lids” on each egg. Set the oven to broil.
Slide
this back under the broiler for another 2 to 3 minutes,
watching carefully.
Remove
with a spatula to His plate and serve with juice and coffee to his
preference.
