Well
it's time for the tree trimming parties! These warm bites will be so
welcome. The tastes of old tyme New York Deli Sandwiches have been a
favorite for years.
Pastrami,
mustard, horseradish, pickles on rye, what's not to love! Here we
present them as a finger food for your next get-together.
Ingredients:
1
Tbs mustard
1
Tbs horseradish sauce
1
tsp mayo
1
tsp pickle relish
¼
tsp coriander
½
lbs pastrami chopped
1
cup shredded cheese
loaf
of party rye (rye squares)
Mustard
to spread
Directions:
Finely
chop the pastrami
In
bowl mix Mustard with horseradish sauce,
add
mayo & pickle relish.
Stir
in the coriander (this is the main taste of pastrami)
Finally
stir in the chopped pastrami and cheese
Seal
until ready to serve.
Turn
on broiler, line a tray with foil and lightly spray.
Spread
thin coating of mustard on the rye squares and place on foil.
Drop
mixture by tablespoonfuls onto each and slide under broiler.
Watch
carefully, don't want them to burn, just heat and melt.
Transfer
with a spatula onto serving dish.
