The Post I Didn't Want to Make

In the last post we left off making a Triple layered Lemon Cake. Slave made a stupid mistake and it turned out horrible! Like any human, slave does not want to admit it. However, that is just pride. Which never does me any good. Nor would it be an opportunity to teach.

What slave did was attempt baking when it was tired and not paying attention. It's recipe was to bake by scratch, which produces the best taste and thus the best offering. However, it just couldn't convince itself to pay the high price for some of the ingredients! IE: 3 inch lemons were $1 a piece! So it got the cheep cake mix in a box, prepared frosting, and a canned pie filling.

These CAN produce excellent results and some prefer to use them. In this case, slave overlooked adding water to the mix. Oops! Slave can't remember ever adding water into a batter for cake. It should have followed directions, just as slave always tells you to do. Well this is what happened:

 The cakes were concave, heavy and burnt! Well slave wasn't going to admit that it could not salvage the effort and went ahead to finish the project. This was more for slaves own sense of accomplishment.

Slave has been eating it, but really wanted to just bury the thing in the back yard and never admit anything was wrong.

 Are you surprised that a slave has that kind of pride? Guess that is why things are called “accidents” not “On purpose's”.

We will get back to this project. Together, step by step we will make a great desert! One that Master will be proud to serve His guests! Because while it hurts slave's ego to make a mess of things like this, it hurts much worse knowing that it disappointed its Master!

Humbly his Masters;
